A Primary Color First Birthday Party DIY Invitation

My cousin asked me to help her with her son’s primary color themed first birthday party invitations.  I had recently used Microsoft Word to design invitations my son’s train themed birthday, so that’s what I was comfortable with at the time and what I used to design Josh’s invites.  I gave her a few options, and after a few tweaks, this is what I came up with:

The templates are formatted to be printed as 5 X 7 invites.  Please keep this in mind as you design.

  1. Download the image(s) you want.  Click on the image you want to use.  This will open the image in a new window.  Right click the image, then click “Save Image As…”.  Save the image to your computer.
  2. Open the image in PicMonkey* or another image editing software of your choosing.  (I suggest PicMonkey* because it’s free, online, and easy to use.  Haven’t used it before?  Seriously, it’s pretty easy, give it a go.  I’ll be here cheering you on.)
