Toddler Pumpkin Bow Headband

I love fall.  There I said it.  As cliché as it is, it’s always been my favorite season.  I’ve been knitting pumpkin hats for my son since I learned how to knit.  Luckily this year, his hat from last year still fits.  But my new daughter needs one.  I have not touched my knitting stuff since she was born.  Literally haven’t knitted anything this year.  Well that all changed today thanks to an awful tonsil infection, a kid hanging out with his grandparents, and a sleepy baby.

Man, do I love knitting – and – holy smokes – have I missed it!

So, I didn’t quite get to a pumpkin hat today, but we’ve been having warm weather recently anyway.  Instead, I made this freakin’ adorable pumpkin bow headband.

Well, the headband was intended for her, turns out I made it a little big.  So, I’m selling it in my Etsy shop and I’ll start from scratch for my baby girl.

I’m calling it toddler sized (approx. 1-3 years) because it’s a little big on my almost 9 month old.  But really, I can fit it on my head, it’s got some good stretch to it.

This yarn is so soft, I can’t believe I haven’t used it before!  Malabrigo 100% Pure Baby Merino Wool Twist in Sunset 96*.
